The first public performance of this band was tonight at the Canal Street Tavern. My grandson, Will, was the lead guitar. He was amazing. They were all amazing.
He announced the songs and sang. Jail House Rock was great. He may not be able to talk tomorrow but he did a great job tonight.
This first picture is before the performance. The hair??? Don’t ask. That smile is for his Grandma.
The whole group on stage. I know - the hair.
He even got a little of Elvis style into it a couple of times.
They called their band Bad Influence. He has played in a band before at their church. From the choir to Bad Influence. Hmmmmm.
The weather postponed their performance last month and today it started snowing in the afternoon. Several fans didn’t show up because of the snow but they missed a great time.
The group was organized by the local music store. There was a younger group who performed first.
Can you tell I’m a proud Grandmother?
Later….
